training success out of self-improvers through bespoke plans
Fully structured, bespoke supervised programmes: Starting out, all customers are required to undertake a simple health screening to identify any areas of concern. In addition, I ask all customers to complete a fitness assessment induction. This is very important to gain an understanding of your base level of fitness and to set a base of parameters we can use to measure progress. Then we will put together a monthly plan with agreed sessions, goals and review dates.
With a Level 3 Certificate in Nutrition for Physical Activity, I am able to offer basic food intake analysis, using guidelines published by Public Health England and the NHS. This analysis is included in the bloc session plans of either four or six sessions.

Walking lunges are a great way to warm up - grasping a small weight for balance, try to get the knee down to a 90 degree angle, with the other leg straight out back and behind you, then raise the opposing leg and repeat, doing around the length of a London bus, or 30 seconds' worth. Try to keep the chin held high, looking straight ahead, your back vertical and straight. In all of my PT sessions I include a proper warm-up before the main power/resistance segment.
